Dec 09, Ho Christopher rated it really liked it. It is very thought provoking at times but Kyle’s humor lightens the mood throughout. There were ahs lot of interesting ideas and ways to look at the events of life. Most importantly, he aua reminds even the most spiritually destitute wanderer that the Jyle will be waiting with open arms to welcome them back home! I actually think this is the model of what every good Udleman book should be—easy to read, enjoyable, and packs a punch.
This book will give you a fresh perspective to see your own AHA moment in that journey and find your way back to the heart of your loving Father God. There was things in this parable that Idleman brought out that I never noticed before. But I think that would not be a good follow up. Maybe an additional chapter on basic discipleship would be extremely helpful to such new believers. He uses the parable of the prodigal son throughout the book. At first I thought what an odd name for a book. A compelling, entertaining, and logical argument for how and when to change. This is such a good book. Everyone seemed to connect to it on their own level and really ahq something raw and new out of it.
